The Story
Project Overview
La Luna is the first fixed-pontoon floating beach club in Australia. Conceived by a restaurateur, it was designed as an elegant and relaxed luxury destination on the Gold Coast, complementing his upcoming seafood restaurant at Marina Mirage.
Design Concept & Atmosphere
The design brief, “Life on board a luxury yacht,” shaped La Luna into a casual-chic waterfront space created to impress. The immersive layout frames sweeping water views, capturing the movement, reflections, and lights to evoke the feeling of stepping aboard a private yacht.
Experience & Destination
As a floating structure, La Luna gently interacts with its surroundings, enhancing the sensation of escape and exclusivity. Now an iconic venue for dining, lounging, and private events, it features sun lounges, day beds, and private cabanas in a prime waterfront setting, accessible via the Marina Mirage boardwalk or by boat.
