Riverbend Country Club in Hervey Bay is a thoughtfully designed resort for over-50s, developed by Metacap Building Legacy. Conceived as a welcoming lifestyle destination, it sets a new benchmark for contemporary coastal country living.
Design & Architecture
Rather than a single monolithic building, the club is composed of multiple interconnected structures that create a cohesive village-like environment. Corridors, courtyards, and extensive landscaping link the buildings while allowing each to function independently. The architectural style blends modern coastal design with barn-inspired elements, including high-pitched raked roofs, centred around a landscaped pool courtyard framed by four towering palm trees.
Community & Lifestyle Experience
Designed to foster connection, relaxation, and community, Riverbend offers spaces for active and social living, from alfresco dining, barbecues, and outdoor lounging to an indoor accessible pool. Events spaces with sunk lounges and a stage host gatherings and performances, while workshops, lounges, and intimate courtyards encourage hobbies, conversation, and family time.
